A lot of people were alarmed after they saw the footage of an Australian professional surfer being chased by a hungry shark while in a competition.
The professional surfer Michael Eugene "Mick" Fanning was attacked by a hungry shark in the middle of a tournament!
At first, everyone was waiting for Mick Fanning was sitting on his surf board as if he will be doing the most breath taking stunt ever, when the hungry shark suddenly appeared behind him.
Of course, everyone panicked including him. The good thing is that he got good reflexes which made the shark bite his surf board instead of his leg.
He was able to escape the from the shark attack with the help of the rescuers who immediately came. After being rescued, Fanning claimed in an interview that he was able to punch the shark in the head first before he shouted for help!
