During summer, people often spend time on going to the beach to relax and to have fun. But what if the happy and relaxing day turns out to be the worst day of your life? What if, the day you're supposed to relax turns out to be the day when your life will be taken away?
A 26-year-old man named Cason Yeagar just wanted to unwind and have fun. He and his friends decided to take a day off and transfer from their home to a beach. They went to a beach in Pine Island in Hernando County.
But then, everything turns out to be the worst memory that a mother could have. Cason's mother,Karen Yeagar, narrates the unfortunate incident that happened to her son.
According to Karen, Cason was contracted by a flesh-eating bacteria which caused him to lose his son at the age of 26.
While enjoying the waist-deep water, Cason got the Vibro Vunificus, a kind of bacteria that lives in a warm salt water. It enters a body when there is a wound exposed to a water.
After Cason was infected with the bacteria, he was immediately brought to the hospital to receive medical treatment, but it seems that he was too late. After two years, Cason passed away.
Cason passed away on June 16, but the doctors signed his death certificate on the 24th of June. What made Cason's mother even more furious is the fact that the officials don't want to announce it to the public the danger that the river can bring to them. All that Karen wanted to do is to prevent another mother to lose a child because of that river.
