Nemo 33 in Brussels, Belgium seems like an ordinary pool. Looking at it from the surface, it really looks like any ordinary pool. But once dived into, it just never fails to amaze. This is because Nemo 33 is also the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world.
Nemo 33 has a depth of 34.5 meters (113 feet). It also has two (2) large flat-bottomed areas--16 feet and 32 feet respectively. Its large circular pit is 108 feet deep.
Down under, Nemo 33 has several windows where swimmers can look at different places and activities occuring at their respective opposite sides.
The said pool is a large indoor swimming pool desgined by John Beernaerts, an expert diver.
Prospective tourists have everything to be thankful about with regard to this pool because the said pool is open to the public. However, as a precautionary measure, only people 12 years and above are allowed to dip themselves into the pool.
