In the olden times, when technology is non-issue, we could argue that life is so much simpler. But at the same time, technological evolution have lead to significant discoveries - software, applications and gadgets that also made our life a lot easier. This is a modern world we are living in and there's nothing we need to do but to adjust. Everyday, when we wake up, we acquire a lot of notifications. These days, we can even multitask eating with our mobile phones beside us. Most of us also sleep with our phones near us. Slowly, these gadgets take control of our lives aside from the entertainment and primary functions it provide.

Lending institutions and finance firms also offer money for us and our parents to buy us the latest gadgets. Credit card and loan applications became popular already - but with the adverse effects it may bring - will it still be worth it? These gadgets, computers and cellular phones, especially with the excessive use, can really destroy your life and eventually kill you? That is why everyone should be made aware about the different effects of these gadgets especially with your health.

How exactly? For our body to adjust to the different technologies, it takes time. And because of the sudden change in our body clock and the way we live our life, our body deteriorates. This especially happens when we change our sleeping and recreation time. Our body needs sunlight and it also needs to rest during specific hours to produce melatonin.



Melatonin regulates the rhythm of the body which enables it to control our cycle of sleeping and waking up.In this era, people tend to turn the lights off but still tinker with their mobile phones to check for updates even in the dark. Not a lot of them do not know that they are mistaken for whenever they do this, they expose themselves to unnatural light which suppresses the production of melatonin.

According to research, low melatonin in people can lead to cancer and other types of diseases as these ensure the health of our cells.In order to prevent such, we must allow our body to return to its normal way of sleeping. This will also enable our system to recuperate, our cells and tissues to rest. So, make sure you try to turn your gadgets off before going to sleep. Make sure you get enough sunlight during the day, too!
